Sunsets are probably one of the most romantic gifts from nature. Sunsets are never the same. On Curacao the sun sets between 6.30 PM and 7.00 PM and it goes down in a rather short time. The after glow maybe is even more romantic! There are several magnificent spots to witness this golden hour, but our favorite one is at the Avila Beach Hotel. Okay, we may be a bit biased, but look at this photo and judge by yourself. It's a cheap date, but of course you can always add a bottle of wine, bubbles and/or snack platter from the Schooner Bar on the beach to complement the sunset.
